We’re working with a supportive primary school in Slough who are looking for a confident HLTA to deliver Computing lessons to small groups across the school from September. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong ICT skills and experience working with children to step into a teaching-led role. The school is open to full-time or part-time arrangements for the right person.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with children across a variety of age groups, including those with special educational needs, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in their studies.
Responsibilities
📚 Deliver engaging Computing sessions to small groups of pupils
👩🏫 Support learning across different year groups, adapting sessions to suit different needs
🌟 Work alongside teachers and support staff to raise attainment in ICT
📝 Assist with planning, preparation and reporting on pupil progress
Requirements
✔️ HLTA qualification or strong experience leading lessons
✔️ Confident delivering Computing/ICT to primary-aged children
✔️ Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently
✔️ Clear communication and strong behaviour management
