This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s passionate about supporting children who need extra care, patience, and consistency in their day-to-day learning. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils regulate emotions, stay engaged with learning and build trusting relationships. The team are experienced, hands-on and always there to support — you’ll never be on your own.
Your Responsibilities: 🤝
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping pupils manage emotions and stay focused in class
- Working closely with class teachers, therapists and behaviour leads
- Supporting structured routines and behaviour strategies
- Promoting emotional well-being and positive relationships
- Assisting with de-escalation where needed (training provided)
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour or SEMH
- Confident, calm and consistent approach
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Team player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in children’s lives
If you carry out a long-term TA role with Supply Hive, you’ll receive higher daily rates of pay, ranging from £96–£110 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
