The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team to support children with additional needs. You will help pupils access the curriculum, provide 1:1 or small group support, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities ✏️
- Support pupils with SEN in classroom and small group settings
- Deliver 1:1 interventions and help build independence
- Assist children in accessing the curriculum and developing key life skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Experience working with children or young people in education, care settings, or clubs
- Patience, empathy, and a positive, flexible approach
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to making a difference
- Appropriate qualifications and training for the role, plus Right to Work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
