An inclusive and friendly primary school near Slough is currently looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming team as soon as possible. Although the school would prefer an immediate start, they are open to waiting until September for the ideal candidate.
In this role, you will work alongside class teachers to support teaching and learning across various year groups. Your responsibilities will include helping deliver stimulating lessons and offering personalised assistance to students, particularly those with additional needs. This is a rewarding chance to be part of a caring school community where your support makes a real difference.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Providing learning support to pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings.
🔹 Working alongside teachers to plan and organise engaging activities and resources.
🔹 Supporting pupils with special educational needs to ensure they can fully participate in lessons.
🔹 Helping to maintain a secure, engaging, and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
🔹 Assisting with the daily classroom routine and promoting positive behaviour.
🔹 Playing a role in tracking pupil development and supporting ongoing assessments.
Requirements:
🔹 Previous experience working with children in an educational environment
🔹 Caring, patient, and hands-on approach
🔹 Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong connections
🔹 Enthusiasm for helping children thrive and learn
🔹 TA qualification is a bonus, though not required
🔹 Full time availability
