A friendly and well-respected one-form entry primary school in Marlow is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their caring and supportive team in the new academic year!
In this role, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for Key Stage 1 pupils. You’ll play an important part in delivering engaging learning experiences and offering targeted support.
Responsibilities:
🟣Assist the teacher and pupils throughout the day to keep lessons running smoothly
🟣Help plan and deliver small group activities and targeted interventions
🟣Offer inclusive support to children with SEN, encouraging confidence and participation
🟣Contribute to positive behaviour management and a calm, structured classroom environment
🟣Organise and prepare teaching resources and learning materials
Requirements:
☑️Previous experience in a primary school is highly desirable
☑️A patient, flexible, and caring approach to working with young children
☑️ Great communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
☑️An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
