A welcoming and inclusive primary school close to High Wycombe is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.
This role involves working closely with the class teacher to support pupils of varying abilities, both within the classroom and during small group or 1:1 sessions. You’ll play a key role in helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. Responsibilities:
📝 Provide learning support to pupils during lessons and targeted intervention sessions
📝 Work alongside the class teacher to deliver differentiated learning experiences
📝 Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere
📝 Assist pupils with additional needs, including those with special educational requirements
📝 Help maintain positive behaviour and promote active involvement in learning
Requirements:
✅Previous experience supporting children, preferably in a school environment.
✅Proactive and patient approach.
✅Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
✅Enthusiasm for supporting children with diverse needs.
✅A valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one.
