We’re working with a lovely First School in Windsor who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 class from September. This is a supportive and welcoming school that values teamwork, creativity, and a nurturing learning environment. The role would suit someone with KS1 experience who’s confident supporting the teacher and working with small groups to help children progress.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with children across a variety of age groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in their studies.
Responsibilities
📚 Supporting the Year 2 class with daily learning and routines
👩🏫 Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support
🌟 Helping create a fun, inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere
📝 Assisting with classroom admin, displays and lesson prep
Requirements
✔️ Experience working in a primary or First School setting
✔️ Confidence working with KS1 pupils
✔️ A calm, proactive and flexible approach
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
