About the Role
We are currently looking for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Reading with an immediate start available.
This is a great opportunity for someone with classroom experience who is looking to gain further school-based experience or step into a flexible role within education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work set.

- Supervising whole classes across a range of subjects
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining classroom order
- Managing behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with their learning where needed
- Reporting back to teaching staff on progress and behaviour
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Confidence managing a classroom environment
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A flexible and proactive attitude
- A passion for education and supporting student progress
