About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in Ascot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in the classroom.
The role will involve working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing both 1:1 and small group support, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.

- Previous experience working as an SEN TA
- Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A passion for helping children thrive
The role includes:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Helping to implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Supporting pupils with communication, social skills, and independence
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers and SENCOs
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
