Experienced SEN TA

Supply Hive is partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wokingham that is looking to welcome a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to their team.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Work with children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties.
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Help implement individual learning and behaviour support strategies.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive relationships throughout the school day.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
• Is patient, empathetic and enthusiastic.
• Can adapt to the individual needs of each child.
• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

At Supply Hive, safeguarding is central to everything we do. All successful applicants will be required to complete enhanced DBS checks and follow strict safeguarding procedures. Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
