EYFS Teacher with Leadership

A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Reading is seeking an experienced EYFS Lead to take responsibility for leading and developing their Early Years provision.

This role would suit an experienced EYFS teacher ready to take the next step, or an established EYFS Lead looking for a new challenge.

The role:

• Lead and manage the EYFS phase 
• Support, mentor and develop EYFS staff
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
• Ensure the EYFS framework is embedded across the provision
• Work closely with SLT to shape early years strategy
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers

The ideal candidate:

• Holds QTS
• Has strong EYFS teaching experience
• Has previous leadership experience (or is ready to step up)
• Is confident with EYFS assessment and moderation
• Is passionate about early years education and development
