Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

A welcoming primary school in Reading is looking for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and confident delivering lessons across the primary age range.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning across the school
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and covering classes when required
• Leading small group interventions to support pupil progress
• Working closely with teachers to support classroom learning
• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• HLTA qualification or significant experience in a similar role
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Confidence leading lessons and managing a classroom
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and flexible approach
