About the Role
Supply Hive is supporting a welcoming primary school in Slough who is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the school year.
The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that supports every child’s development.
Responsibilities:
🟢Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
🟢Create a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s emotional, social, and educational development.
🟢Observe, assess, and track pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and using assessments to inform planning.
🟢Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues.
🟢Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team.
🟢Support children’s personal care needs where appropriate.
Requirements:
✅Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅Experience teaching in a Nursery or Early Years setting (preferred)
✅Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
✅A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children.
✅Right to work in the UK.
✅DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
