Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Reading who are seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HLTA who enjoys variety, responsibility, and making a real impact across the school.

The role will involve:

• Delivering planned lessons and covering classes when required
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience)
• Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting with lesson planning and assessment
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress

The ideal candidate will have:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a UK primary school
• Confidence managing a classroom independently
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
