HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools across Reading. The role involves supporting teaching and learning across a range of primary year groups.

The Role

• Supporting teachers with planning and delivering lessons
• Leading small group sessions and interventions
• Covering classes when required
• Supporting pupils with different learning needs
• Helping maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment

Requirements

• HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience
• Experience working within a UK primary school
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive and supportive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
