About the Role
Supply Hive is supporting a one form entry primary school in High Wycombe who is looking to recruit for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.
This role involves supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the classroom, helping to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
Responsibilities:
🟢 Support the class teacher with the preparation and delivery of lessons across the curriculum.
🟢Helping pupils with their reading, writing, maths and other areas of the KS2 curriculum.
🟢Assist with setting up learning materials, classroom resources, and displays to maintain an organised and stimulating environment.
🟢 Work with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning objectives and ensure understanding of key concepts.
🟢 Encourage active participation, positive behaviour, and strong classroom routines in line with the school’s policies.
🟢 Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support their academic progress and confidence.
🟢 Monitor pupil progress and report observations to the class teacher to inform planning and assessment.
Requirements:
✅ Previous experience working within a primary school classroom setting is desirable.
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
✅ Organised, reliable, and able to use initiative when supporting learning activities.
✅ A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
✅ Right to work in the UK.
