About the Role
Maternity Cover Primary Teacher
A welcoming and successful primary school, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic qualified Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 to April 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to join a supportive primary school environment and make a real impact during a key part of the academic year.

- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff and parents
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
- A passion for primary education and high expectations for all pupils
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
- A friendly, supportive and collaborative staff team
- Well-resourced classrooms and strong leadership
