Maternity Cover Primary Teacher

A welcoming and successful primary school, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic qualified Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 to April 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to join a supportive primary school environment and make a real impact during a key part of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment
• Assess, track and report on pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff and parents
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A passion for primary education and high expectations for all pupils
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
