Nursery Assistant

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child within a nursery setting. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working with young children, particularly those who may need additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for a child in the nursery classroom
• Support the child with learning, play, and daily routines
• Encourage communication, social interaction, and development
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow support strategies
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Experience supporting children 1:1 or with additional needs is highly desirable
• Patient, calm, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
