- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, track and report on pupils’ progress
- Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and the wider school team
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers about pupil progress
- Participate in staff meetings, training, planning and CPD
- Contribute to school life, events and enrichment activities
- Prioritise safeguarding and maintain a safe learning environment for all pupils
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
