R.E Teacher - September 2026

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Slough is seeking a passionate Religious Education Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

As an RE Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop their understanding of religion, ethics and philosophy while promoting respect, curiosity and open-mindedness. You will join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.

Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Assess, monitor and support student progress to help all learners achieve their potential
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes discussion and respect for differing viewpoints
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental initiatives and wider school life

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting understanding of different faiths and beliefs
• A commitment to supporting students both academically and personally
