About the Role
A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Slough is seeking a passionate Science Teacher with a Biology specialism to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging Science lessons while bringing a particular passion for Biology.

As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students to develop scientific knowledge, curiosity and confidence. You will work as part of a collaborative department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons with a Biology focus across KS3 and KS4
• Assess, monitor and support student progress to help all learners achieve their potential
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental initiatives and wider school life
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge, particularly within Biology
• A passion for education and commitment to supporting young people to succeed
