About the Role
We are working closely with a welcoming and well-established secondary school who are seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in ensuring science laboratories run safely, smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key role in preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment and supporting teaching staff to deliver engaging science lessons.

Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment, materials and resources for science lessons
- Support teaching staff during practical activities
- Maintain safe, clean and well-organised laboratories
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and follow health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience within a laboratory or school science environment
- Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, adaptable and able to use your initiative
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
