About the Role
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference?
We’re working with a specialist setting in High Wycombe that supports children and young people with a range of additional needs. The environment is nurturing, structured and highly supportive, with a strong focus on helping pupils build confidence, develop their independence and make progress both academically and personally.
As an SEN TA, you’ll work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils to access learning and feel settled and supported throughout the school day.

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.

- Providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs
- Supporting learning both in and outside of the classroom
- Helping pupils develop communication, social and independence skills
- Working alongside teachers and specialist staff to follow individual support plans
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Building trusting relationships with pupils and providing consistent encouragement
- Helping create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Is patient, calm and nurturing
- Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils
- Is confident supporting children with different learning and behavioural needs
- Works well as part of a wider team
- Is reliable, proactive and genuinely passionate about supporting young people
