SEN Teacher

Supply Hive are working with a fantastic specialist school in Slough who are looking for a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher, or a mainstream teacher with a strong interest in SEN, to join a supportive specialist setting and make a real difference to the pupils they work with.
The school supports children with a range of additional needs, and the role will involve creating engaging, accessible lessons while providing the structure, consistency and nurturing approach that pupils need to thrive.
The role will involve:
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
• Adapting teaching to meet individual needs and abilities
• Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs
• Creating a calm, positive and structured learning environment
• Working closely with experienced TAs and the wider school team
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
• Contributing to EHCP targets and individual learning plans
We're looking for a teacher who is:
• QTS qualified
• Experienced in SEN, or genuinely passionate about developing within specialist education
• Patient, nurturing and consistent
• Confident adapting their teaching to different abilities and needs
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
