SEN Teaching Assistant

Supply Hive are currently recruiting for a SENTA to join a specialist school in Slough, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
The school is looking for a caring, patient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with pupils and provide consistent support throughout the school day.
You will work alongside the class teacher and wider staff team, supporting pupils both 1:1 and within small groups, helping them to engage with learning and develop their confidence and independence.
The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Be confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
• Have a calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Be confident managing challenging behaviour when required
• Work well as part of a wider team
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people
