SEN teaching assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in the classroom?
We are looking for caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work across welcoming primary schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys making a real difference and supporting pupils both academically and emotionally.

The Role

• Supporting children with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and behaviour support
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, SEMH, and other additional needs
• Encouraging pupil confidence, engagement, and independence

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people preferred
• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Relevant TA/SEN qualifications are beneficial but not essential
