Slough SEN TA

We’re looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Slough, starting Monday 13th October. You’ll be working in Key Stage 1, providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to build confidence and reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with children across a variety of age groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in their studies.

Responsibilities
📚 Provide individualised support to children with SEN in KS1
👩‍🏫 Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
🌟 Encourage social, emotional and academic progress
📝 Assist with learning activities, classroom organisation and observations

Requirements
✔️ Experience working with children in a school or SEN environment
✔️ Understanding or interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
✔️ A patient, nurturing and positive approach
✔️ Availability to start from Monday 13th October
