Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real impact in the classroom? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Wokingham.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Working 1:1 or with small groups to help raise attainment
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
• Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and maths activities
• Providing care and support to children with additional needs (if required)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring or volunteering)
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children thrive
• DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
