About the Role
Supply Hive is looking to recruit a motivated and encouraging Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Upper KS2 team at a two-form-entry primary school in Slough, starting this term.
In this role, you’ll make a real difference by supporting pupils’ learning, fostering positive behaviour, boosting maths confidence, and helping to strengthen writing skills. We’re looking for someone energetic, confident in leading 1:1 and small-group sessions, and knowledgeable in KS2 grammar and punctuation.
Responsibilities:
🔵 Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups in Key Stage 2.
🔵 Collaborate with class teachers to deliver engaging and practical lessons.
🔵 Adapt and develop resources to meet varied learning needs and promote inclusive practice.
🔵 Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, nurturing confidence, motivation, and a love of learning.
🔵 Monitor progress and share constructive feedback with the teaching team.
Requirements:
✅ Experience in an educational support role is preferred but not essential.
✅ A good understanding of KS2 grammar and experience supporting behaviour management.
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✅ DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
✅ Right to work in the UK.
