🍎 Year 2 Teacher – Reading Full-Time | Primary School | January Start

A warm and nurturing primary school in Reading is looking for a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to support their friendly KS1 team. If you are creative, patient, and passionate about early learning, this could be the perfect role for you.

✨ The Role 

• Plan and deliver fun, engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
• Support pupils through early SATs and key learning milestones
• Nurture children’s confidence, phonics skills, and independence
• Work collaboratively with experienced KS1 colleagues
• Create a calm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Maintain strong safeguarding practice and positive behaviour strategies

🧑‍🏫 What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
• Experience in KS1, ideally Year 2
• Strong phonics knowledge (Read Write Inc or similar)
• A nurturing, patient approach
• Confident behaviour management and creative lesson planning
