We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school near Maidenhead. This full-time position offers the chance to provide tailored, one-on-one support to a child, helping them thrive and succeed with personalised guidance and encouragement.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in providing personalised support to a student with diverse needs, such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Working closely with teachers and support staff you will deliver tailored interventions, encourage positive behaviours, and help your student achieve their individual goals in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key responsibilities:
🟪 Provide individualised or small group support to students, assisting with their academic development.
🟪 Collaborate with the teacher to design and deliver dynamic, interactive lessons.
🟪 Modify and prepare educational resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
🟪 Build strong, supportive relationships with students, enhancing their confidence and participation.
🟪 Monitor student progress and share insights with the teaching team to inform future planning.
Requirements:
✔️ A genuine commitment to fostering children's growth and learning.
✔️ Experience in a similar role is advantageous, though not required.
✔️ Strong communication abilities, with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
✔️ Relevant qualifications or a willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
