We are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join one of our lovely partner nurseries. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and enjoys helping young children grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence. You’ll be supporting the class with daily routines, learning activities, and play-based development, creating a safe and stimulating environment for little learners to thrive.
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with children across a variety of age groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in their studies.
Responsibilities
📚 Assist with early years learning through structured play and creative activities
👩🏫 Support the nursery team in day-to-day routines and behaviour management
🌟 Help create a safe, caring and inclusive environment for all children
📝 Observe and record children’s progress and share insights with the team
Requirements
✔️ Experience working with children in early years or a nursery setting
✔️ A warm, patient and positive attitude
✔️ Good communication and teamworking skills
✔️ Relevant childcare qualifications are a bonus but not essential

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
