We are looking for adaptable and committed Supply Teachers to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Reading. This role is available for an immediate start, with the option for a September 2025 start for the right candidate. The schools we work with are welcoming and well-resourced, with strong leadership teams and a clear commitment to high-quality education.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task. Whether you are seeking short-term flexibility or a longer-term post, this role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a range of local settings and make a real difference in pupils’ daily learning.
Responsibilities
👩🏫 Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups
🧠 Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
📚 Follow school policies and procedures effectively
📝 Provide feedback on pupil engagement and behaviour
🔄 Be flexible and adaptable to different school environments
Requirements
🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
🗣️ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
📆 Availability for short-term and/or long-term supply
🌟 Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive approach to teaching
🔐 Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
