We are looking for adaptable and committed Supply Teachers to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Reading. This role is available for an immediate start, with the option for a September 2025 start for the right candidate. The schools we work with are welcoming and well-resourced, with strong leadership teams and a clear commitment to high-quality education.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task. Whether you are seeking short-term flexibility or a longer-term post, this role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a range of local settings and make a real difference in pupilsโ daily learning.
Responsibilities

๐ง Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
๐ Follow school policies and procedures effectively
๐ Provide feedback on pupil engagement and behaviour
๐ Be flexible and adaptable to different school environments
Requirements
๐ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
๐ฃ๏ธ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
๐ Availability for short-term and/or long-term supply
๐ Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive approach to teaching
๐ Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
