We’re supporting a warm and inclusive primary school in Windsor in their search for a part-time SEN teacher to join their team 2–3 days per week. The role begins in September and involves teaching a small group of pupils with additional needs.
This is a fantastic role for a dedicated teacher who enjoys working in specialist environments and feels confident supporting pupils who benefit from personalised, structured learning approaches. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a specialist SEN environment or within a Specialist Resource Base.
Responsibilities:
🔵Design and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning needs across Key stage 2 and 3 (Year 5-Year 8)
🔵Support pupils in developing communication skills, emotional regulation, and social engagement.
🔵Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to provide tailored support.
🔵Track pupil progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote positive outcomes
Establish a calm and predictable classroom environment with clear routines.
Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Proven background in SEN or ARP teaching is essential
✅ A compassionate, adaptable, and supportive teaching style
✅ Eligibility to work in the UK, with an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
