A friendly and nurturing first school in Windsor is seeking a reliable and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.
In the role of Teaching Assistant within Key Stage 1, you’ll be instrumental in delivering 1:1 support and small group
interventions. We are looking for someone who is energetic, proactive, and enjoys taking initiative.
Responsibilities:
🟣 Provide support to individual pupils and small groups in Key Stage 1, helping them stay focused and achieve their best.
🟣 Work alongside the class teacher to create and deliver engaging, hands-on learning activities.
🟣 Adapt and develop learning materials to suit different needs and learning styles.
🟣 Build positive, encouraging relationships with pupils to boost confidence, engagement, and a love for learning.
🟣 Monitor student progress and share observations with teaching staff to inform planning.
Requirements:
✅ Experience in a school support role is preferred but not required.
✅ Genuine enthusiasm for helping children grow and succeed.
✅ Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do approach.
✅ A DBS certificate via the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
✅ Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
