We’re seeking a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant to become part of a friendly KS2 team at a supportive school in Maidenhead, starting this September.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting behaviour management, developing writing abilities, and strengthening confidence in maths. We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm into the classroom, feels comfortable leading 1:1 and small-group sessions, and has a strong understanding of KS2 grammar and punctuation.
Responsibilities:
🔵 Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups across Key Stage 2
🔵 Work closely with the class teacher to deliver creative and interactive learning opportunities
🔵 Adapt and prepare resources to suit a variety of learning styles and promote inclusive education
🔵 Build positive, encouraging relationships with pupils to support self-confidence, motivation, and enjoyment of learning
🔵 Monitor pupil progress and share valuable feedback with teaching staff
Requirements:
✅ Previous experience in a similar educational support role is preferred but not essential
✅ Strong grammar knowledge and the ability to support effective behaviour management.
✅ Excellent communication skills
✅ A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain a new one).
✅Right to work in the UK
