A friendly school in Maidenhead is seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis for 2-3 days per week. Responsibilities:
🟣Offer tailored support to individual children or small groups, including those with additional needs.
🟣Collaborate with the teacher to plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that promote early learning.
🟣Adapt and create learning resources to accommodate the diverse needs and learning styles of young children.
🟣Build positive, nurturing relationships with children, helping to boost their confidence and encourage active participation.
🟣Track and assess children’s progress, providing useful feedback and observations to the teaching team to support their development.
Requirements:
✅ A genuine interest for supporting the learning of children.
✅ Experience in a similar role is desirable, though not required.
✅ Strong communication skills, with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
✅Eligibility to work in the UK.
✅DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.
