A welcoming and supportive primary school in Eton is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about nurturing young children’s academic and personal growth.
As a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1, you’ll play a key role in delivering 1:1 and small group interventions. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude and is great at using their initiative.
Responsibilities:
🟣 Support individual students and small groups in Key Stage 1, helping them stay on task and reach their full potential.
🟣 Collaborate with the class teacher to design and deliver fun, hands-on learning experiences.
🟣 Modify and develop resources to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
🟣 Foster strong, encouraging relationships with pupils to boost their confidence, participation, and love for learning.
🟣 Track student progress and share insights with teaching staff to support effective planning.
Requirements:
🟢 Previous experience in a school support role is preferred but not essential.
🟢 A true enthusiasm for supporting children’s development.
🟢 Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
🟢 Possession of a DBS on the Update Service, or readiness to obtain one.
🟢 Must have the right to work legally in the UK.
