Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for students with a range of SEN needs
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and other professionals to support pupils’ learning and development
- Focus on supporting the social, emotional, and academic progress of children in your class
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in SEN teaching (or a keen interest in working within an SEN setting)
- A creative, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
- Strong classroom management skills
- A commitment to providing the best outcomes for children
