In this role, you will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to provide targeted support, helping children with their academic progress and social development. The role may include working with pupils with additional needs, including those with EHCPs.
Responsibilities ✏️📚
- Provide in-class support to the teacher and pupils
- Assist with delivering tailored interventions
- Support children with SEND and promote inclusive learning
- Help manage classroom behaviour and routines
- Prepare learning materials and resources
- Provide feedback to teachers and parents as required
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting preferred
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping children reach their full potential
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
