The successful applicant will support teaching and learning across the school, working closely with class teachers to assist in delivering engaging lessons and providing tailored support to pupils. You will also play a vital role in helping children with additional needs access the curriculum, both in and out of the classroom. Responsibilities 📝
- Supporting pupils in their learning, both individually and in small groups
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff to prepare resources and activities
- Assisting children with additional needs, ensuring inclusive access to the curriculum
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment
- Supporting classroom routines and behaviour management
- Contributing to assessment and progress monitoring
- Experience working with children in a school setting
- A patient, caring and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- A genuine passion for supporting young learners
- Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Availability for a full-time role
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
