A well-regarded one-form entry primary school in Marlow is looking to recruit a committed class based Teaching Assistant in KS1 to become part of their nurturing and collaborative team. Although an immediate start is ideal, the school is happy to wait until September for the right individual.

In this classroom-based role, you’ll support the teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment in Key Stage 1. You’ll be instrumental in delivering meaningful learning activities and providing focused support to pupils, particularly those with additional or special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

📚Support the teacher and pupils throughout the school day to ensure lessons run smoothly.
📚Assist with the planning and delivery of tailored interventions and small group work.
📚Provide inclusive support to children with SEND, promoting participation and confidence.
📚Help manage classroom behaviour and contribute to a calm, structured learning space.
📚Prepare and organise teaching tools, learning aids, and classroom resources.
📚Communicate feedback and progress updates to teaching staff and, when needed, to parents.
 
Requirements:

Experience working in a primary school setting is a strong advantage
Calm, adaptable, and patient approach to supporting young learners
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
A genuine passion for helping children thrive academically and emotionally
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
