We’re working with a welcoming, community-focused school in Maidenhead who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The school prides itself on creating an inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their potential. This role starts September 2025 (or sooner for the right candidate).
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom. You’ll be supporting pupils across a range of subjects, helping them stay engaged and motivated. The role offers the chance to work closely with teachers, support small groups, and provide 1:1 assistance to children who may need extra help. Responsibilities 📚✨
  • Support pupils in class, small groups, or 1:1 sessions
  • Help prepare lesson materials and resources
  • Assist the class teacher in managing behaviour and encouraging participation
  • Provide tailored support for children with additional needs
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom
Requirements 📝🌟
  • Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting
  • A caring, patient, and supportive approach
  • Good teamwork skills and the ability to use your initiative
  • An understanding of SEN needs is desirable but not essential
  • Right to Work in the UK and willingness to complete necessary safeguarding checks
