As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be instrumental in providing tailored support to pupils in Year 1. Your role will involve working closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed. Flexibility, dedication, and a positive attitude are essential as you help foster an environment where all students can thrive.

Responsibilities

🤝Creating an inclusive classroom environment.
💖Supporting social and emotional development, promoting student confidence, independence, and well-being.
👐Assisting with lesson preparation and delivery
📝 Providing feedback to contribute to the assessment of student progress and sharing insights with teachers, parents, and carers.
 
Requirements

🧠Experience working with children in a school or similar environment.
🗣️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
😌Adaptability and patience to support a wide range of learning needs.
✔️Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
🔒An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
