We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Reading, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is full-time and available to start in June 2025. The school offers a supportive environment and is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with SEN. You will work closely with the class teacher to assist with lesson delivery, provide one-on-one support, and help students engage in classroom activities. Your contribution will ensure that every child can reach their full potential in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
π Support SEN students in class and during activities
π©βπ« Assist with lesson preparation and delivery
π Provide tailored support for individual learning needs
π§βπ€βπ§ Foster an inclusive and supportive environment
π‘ Monitor student progress and report back to the teacher
Requirements
π Previous experience working with SEN students is preferred
ποΈ A patient, empathetic approach to working with children
π Strong communication skills
π₯ Ability to work effectively as part of a team
πΌ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
