You will be working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver targeted support, contribute to classroom activities, and help create an environment where all pupils can thrive.
Responsibilities
- 🎯 Provide individual and small-group support for pupils, including those with SEND
- 🧠 Assist the class teacher with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities
- 📚 Help prepare resources and contribute to the creation of an engaging learning environment
- 🌟 Monitor pupil progress and offer encouragement and guidance where needed
- 🤝 Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere across the school day
- ✔️ A genuine interest in education and child development
- ✅ Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (preferred)
- 🧩 Confidence in supporting children with additional needs
- 🕒 Full-time availability from September
- 💼 Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
