We are working with a welcoming primary school in Bracknell seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team full-time. The school is known for its nurturing ethos and inclusive environment, providing a fantastic space for both students and staff to thrive. This role is available for an immediate start and offers a brilliant opportunity to work closely with pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN). You will assist the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons, offering one-to-one or small group support where needed, and helping to create a positive, encouraging learning space for all children.
Responsibilities
📚 Support students’ learning on a one-to-one or small group basis
🧠 Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEN
📝 Support the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
🌟 Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and development
🤝 Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment
Requirements
🎓 Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting
💬 Good communication and interpersonal skills
🧩 Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education
✅ DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
🇬🇧 Right to work in the UK
