We’re working with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Slough who are looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team in September. This is a lovely opportunity to step into a supportive KS1 environment with experienced leadership and engaged pupils. Whether you’re an ECT or an experienced teacher, you’ll be well-supported from day one.
As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom learning and helping children achieve their full potential. You’ll plan and deliver lessons, track progress, and create an inclusive, positive environment for your Year 2 class.
Responsibilities
📚 Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
👩🏫 Assess and monitor pupil progress against national expectations
🌟 Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
📝 Maintain a well-organised and stimulating classroom environment
Requirements
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔️ Experience or confidence teaching KS1 (Year 2 ideally)
✔️ Strong classroom and behaviour management
✔️ A nurturing, proactive, and reflective teaching style

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
