About the Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to a specific student in year 4, ensuring their individual learning and emotional needs are met. Working closely with teachers and SEN specialists, you’ll help the student access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their potential. Responsibilities
🌟 Deliver personalised support to a student in line with their individual education plan (IEP).
🌟 Assist the student with both academic tasks and social development.
🌟 Implement strategies to manage behaviour and enhance engagement.
🌟 Liaise with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to monitor progress and share feedback.
Requirements
✅ Experience working with children, particularly in a 1:1 setting or with SEN.
✅ Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering student growth.
✅ Strong communication and organisational skills.
✅ A proactive approach and adaptability to meet the student’s evolving needs.
