You’ll take full ownership of the Year 5 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum. With support from experienced phase leaders and access to excellent resources, this is a brilliant opportunity for a teacher who thrives on meaningful planning, creativity in the classroom, and making a lasting impact on pupils’ progress. In line with responsibilities, you will be paid to your Main Pay Scale (MPS).
Responsibilities 🧑🏫
- Take full responsibility for the planning, delivery, and assessment of Year 5 lessons
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with year group and phase leaders
- Monitor pupil progress and differentiate learning to meet individual needs
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil development
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5 or Upper Key Stage 2
- Strong planning, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A creative, proactive, and reflective teaching approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
